Live edge dining tables
One slab, one table. Every live edge top keeps the natural line and grain of the tree it came from.
A slab table is the one piece in the house you cannot order twice.
Our live edge dining tables are made by Amish woodworkers from a single slab of walnut or another solid hardwood, with the natural edge and grain kept. No two tops are alike. The color, the figure and the edge all come from the tree.
You choose the slab, the size and the base, from trestle and pedestal to metal, and we can match chairs and a bench to the wood. Come see the slabs in person at our Charleston showroom on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, and a furniture specialist will help you pick the one for your room.

Questions we hear often
What is a live edge dining table?
A live edge dining table has a top made from a single slab of wood with the natural edge of the tree kept, so every table is one of a kind.
What are the bow-tie shapes in some live edge tops?
Those are butterfly keys. Where a slab has small cracks, woodworkers set in these inlays to hold the wood steady. They are part of the character of the table.
Can I choose the base?
Yes. Trestle, pedestal and metal bases are all available, and we can match chairs and a bench to the slab.
Should I choose a slab in person?
We recommend it. Photographs flatten the grain and hide the edge. Visit the showroom at 1750 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm, to see the slabs.

My husband and I cannot recommend this furniture store more highly. You are made to feel extremely comfortable as soon as you walk in. They are very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting pieces.
