What poly is
Made from recycled HDPE
Poly is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the durable plastic used in milk jugs, detergent bottles and bottle caps. These items are recycled, purified and made into Amish poly lumber that is over 90 percent recycled post-consumer waste by weight.
HDPE naturally resists weather and is easy to clean, which makes it ideal for outdoor furniture. The color runs through the whole board, so it holds its original look.
