As owner and operator, Matt oversees all aspects of Charleston Amish Furniture. He leads the vision with focus and excitement to furnish every home in the coastal region. His primary desire is to ensure that every customer has a quality experience in the store and knows that we value them.
Judson is passionate about delivering a fulfilling and quality store experience. Keeping our team focused, inspired & driven to deliver. He oversees everything from the furniture on the showroom floor to the daily operations. He is focused on exceeding our customer expectations. Need some help? Judson is your go-to.
With over 20 years of Admin experience, Krissie makes sure the books are in order and keeps the offices supplied. She brings organization and enhancement to where it is needed. She also is a fantastic cook and baker. Our waistbands can testify to that fact!
As an experienced designer, Malinda works tirelessly to keep the store looking its absolute best. She is compassionate and caring to every customer. She desires the store aesthetics to be enjoyable for the customer and their experience to feel comfortable.
Eric's focuses are in the warehouse and delivery department. He is the warehouse team leader. He has been with us since the launch of the Charleston location. He is a dedicated and hard worker.
Brandon is one of our Home Experts; with years of experience, he will be able to offer advice and expert help as you create your dream piece of furniture.
Harold is one of our Home Experts; he grew up Amish. Years later, he now has an unprecedented understanding of how our furniture is built and the Amish culture that build it.
Alex is a great attribute in our warehouse and delivery department. He is a valuable part of our team. He brings a good sense of humor. He is a focused and strong worker.
Craig is one of the newer members of our team. He has lived in Charleston for over 35 years and has decades of experience in the furniture industry.
Meet the Owners
Matt and Beth Troyer, owners and founders of Charleston Amish Furniture, are both from the Amish heritage and were married in 2002. They live in Charleston, SC with their three sons Vincent, Dawson, and Carson who are also involved, forming a strong, family owned business. Matt was born in Ohio and is the second born. He has two sisters and one brother. Beth was born in Pennsylvania and is the youngest. She has five sisters and one brother.
Their unique entrepreneur journey began when they launched Foothills Amish Furniture in Landrum, SC in 2005. They now have a second retail store in Charleston, SC since 2017. Initially, they battled through hardships and doubts, barely making ends meet, but giving up was not an option, so they persisted on with a purpose driven destiny in mind.Together, with Matt’s focus on vision and Beth’s attention to detail, they formed a strong business team while implementing the Amish values of persistence, hard work, loyalty and honesty.
Quality is at their core and is the heartbeat of how they operate business, creating a solid, steady climb to excellence while providing exceptional customer care.
Their hobbies include, relaxing at the beach, fishing in Alaska, camping, trying new restaurants, achieving fitness goals and running obstacle course races.
Having contact with many clients and individuals, it is their goal to help those despairing with addictions, to eliminate doubt and to create a light at the end of the tunnel, because everyone’s story is important.
