Cedar chests and blanket chests
Solid wood hope chests, blanket chests and storage trunks, handmade by Amish craftsmen and built to be handed down.
A cedar chest keeps the things you mean to keep: quilts, linens, letters and the baby blanket you could never give away.
Our hope chests, blanket chests and storage trunks are built to order in Amish family workshops from solid oak, cherry, walnut and other hardwoods. Cedar chests are lined with aromatic red cedar to keep your linens fresh. Choose a raised panel, Mission or Shaker design, with a flat or rounded lid, in the finish that suits your room.
Set one at the foot of the bed, in the entry as a bench, or in a child’s room as a toy chest. Come see them in our Charleston showroom, and a furniture specialist will help you choose the wood and finish.
